ichele Sciacca and Jeremy Engle first met in college over 6 years ago in San Luis Obispo .  Jeremy is originally from the area and Michele had made the move from Visalia to attend school.  Both Michele's and Jeremy's parents had planned on purchasing a home for their children to live in while away at college and they ended up vying for the same house! Eventually the two ended up living in houses just around the corner from one another and they would wave hello as they frequently passed by going to and from their homes. A neighborly welcome introduction would turn into a great friendship and soon enough blossomed into a romantic relationship!

In late July, after both Michele and Jeremy had worked late, they drove downtown to look for a quick place to eat. Michele was busy talking about her day when Jeremy suddenly pulled over. Puzzled, she asked him what he was doing and an anxious Jeremy replied, "Just a minute..." The next thing Michele knew, Jeremy was pulling out a beautiful wooden box and began to bend down on one knee.  He opened the box revealing a gorgeous sparkling engagement ring and asked Michele to marry him. Surprised and suddenly without words, Michele replied with a simple but meaningful, "YES!". Michele can remember that although the proposal was not super extravagant, it definitely reflected their personalities and it was just perfect!

Right from the start Michele and Jeremy envisioned a very unique and glamorous, yet welcoming and comfortable and wedding. Their fall nuptials would be filled with rich, deep colors of chocolates and golds, with lots of sparkle, combined with a golden tree motif to capture the outdoor reception location at Koetsier Ranch in Visalia and the generational family orchard business. Michele feels that they were definitely able to accomplish the look and ambiance that they were dreaming of. Elegant invitations and the many other coordinating paper elements custom designed to perfectly match their big day helped to contribute to the tone and atmosphere of the wedding. "Lisa really took our vision and turned it into something amazing. From our save the dates to our wedding invitations, thank-you’s, rehearsal dinner invitations, brunch invitations, all of my shower stationery and everything else she did for us…it was all just gorgeous! She added such a personal touch to our wedding and it was noticed by all of our guests, I can’t tell you how many people have told me that our invitations were the “most beautiful they have every seen”!...she goes above and beyond the call of duty and it definitely shows".

With all the hustle and bustle that goes on during a wedding, Michele's most memorable moment by far was the ceremony. "After the wedding party had walked down the aisle and they shut the doors to wait for my dad and I, the music began…and the minute they opened the doors and I saw Jeremy for the first time and the 500 guests that were all there just for us, it was an amazing feeling and a magical moment, I tried so hard to hold back the tears of joy, but I just couldn’t".

A wedding is such a special occasion and it should be a memory to cherish. Michele's advice for brides to be is to "Have fun! Enjoy every second of it because you never get to do it again! But...definitely work hard on the details so you don’t have any regrets.  I worked really hard for a year and a half planning everything because I wanted it to be perfect, I knew I could never do it again so I wanted to make sure we did everything just right. The details definitely made the day, and people really noticed it too. Jeremy didn’t really understand during all the planning why all the little things mattered so much to me, but once he saw the final product of the day and all the little things came together, he completely understood why it mattered so much and he was so thankful that we took the time to make everything so personalized and unique to us and our style. It definitely got a little stressful, but you always have to remember what you working towards, it will all be worth it in the end, it definitely was for us!"
